About the foundation
Rooted in Ho West. Focused on girls and young mothers.
Somnia Osbrain Foundation LBG works with communities to break poverty cycles linked to teenage pregnancy through education, skills, mentoring, and co-designed local programs.
Somnia Osbrain Foundation LBG is a Ghanaian non-profit founded in 2019 and based in Bakpe, Ho West District of the Volta Region. Formerly known as Osbrain Cares Foundation, we work with vulnerable communities—especially young mothers and girls—to break cycles of poverty linked to teenage pregnancy through education, mentoring, advocacy, skills training, and micro-business support.
We partner with communities, schools, and global platforms such as GlobalGiving (partner since September 2024) to scale sustainable, locally designed programs.
